Tips for Successful Berry Picking
Know when to go. Check our website, Facebook, or call ahead to ensure the berries you want are ready to be picked.
Prepare for the sun. Wear a hat and sunscreen and bring plenty of water to keep you safe and protected from the sun. Take breaks in the shade during hot days.
Bring extra buckets. We have a few buckets to borrow while picking. You will need a container to transport all your berries home safely.
Belts. Two hands are better than one. Attach a bucket with a handle to a belt and keep both hands free to quickly pick all the berries you want.
Dig. Berries are sneaky and often hide. Don’t be afraid to move the branches around to uncover the best berries.
